The Committee on Worship and Music assists, in consultation with the Minister of Word and Sacrament, the organist/choir director, and church council in seeing that the services of God’s house are conducted regularly and in accordance with the liturgy of the Evangelical Luther Church in America.
Sub committees include Altar Guild which provide for the weekly care and placement of seasonal paraments and vestments. Altar Guild makes the preparations for Holy Communion weekly services.
Another subcommittee, the Worship Planning Team along with the Pastor, choose seasonal worship themes, liturgical elements, and liturgical music to enhance our worship life.
Worship and Music Committee holds the Harvest Home Sunday Celebration, decorates the sanctuary for the various church seasons and special occasions, and chooses the designation for half of a year for Quiet Cash/Noisy Coin collection.
