“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (1Cor 1:3)!

As we journey through the season of Pentecost, we explore what it means to be the church in this time and in this place.  This is such a challenging question for us with all that is going on in our country and throughout our world.  However, the mission of the church remains the same: to share the gospel message with all we meet and reflect the love of Christ Jesus in all we say and do.

Despite the many weeks of not being able to gather in person to worship, St. John’s has continued it’smission by spreading the gospel message through online services and monthly mailings; by continuing to provide for the needs of our neighbors through Kate’s Kupboard; and by praying and caring for one another.  If you have driven past St. John’s in the past weeks, you will notice the sign out front boldly proclaims, “We Never Close!”
