Reformation is the day we remember Martin Luther’s posting of the Ninety-Five Theses.  Luther didn’t intend for these to be translated, printed and spread to others.  He was wanting to debate with theologians of the church.  There were many happenings in the church at the time that were contrary to Scripture.  One of those was about how justification was taught.  Our reading from Romans reminds us that we are justified by grace.  This grace is a gift from God through Jesus Christ.  There is nothing we can do to earn this grace or save ourselves.
